Mar. 25th, 2011 08:45 amI overslept today. Not in that "Oh shit," type of way, but, "Y'know I just don't care, as long as I get there on time" type of way. I did get in on time, I'm unshowered but it's the first day of spring break and I really don't much care. There's few teachers here and it's that lazy sleepy kind of day.
Speaking of which, it'll be an insanely boring week. I've already destroyed my to-do list in this past week of few classes, now that I have no classes or anything else on for that matter it's going to be tough. Just me, taxes, getting ready for my successor, and grad school planning. Not bad stuff, but not exactly gangbuster fun either.
Aaaand the omiyage train is running full speed. I've gotten a few treats from people going on trips and having party leftovers, but I just got the first of my departing-teachers treats (every teacher transferring with the yearly switch-up gives a present, then every teacher coming in gives a present), and finally people will be going on their spring break trips soon, bringing back more sweets. In short, I'm screwed. This happens every year at this time! I'm starting to really appreciate the people who give towels, kleenex, or coffee as gifts instead of cookies and sweets.
