At Yosakoi dance practice it's necessary for us to stand in perfectly straight lines while we dance, and to always stay these lines with each other as we move. The consistency is part of the overall effect.

But since the beginning they kept telling me to move forward, but I just couldn't see it. I could have sworn I was in line. What was going on??

Then I realized I have a butt, and it all clicked. I'm bigger out the back than anyone else, so of course from my eyes I may think I'm in line, but I'm not actually centered compared to the other folks. And ever since I started making these booty allotments for space, they've stopped correcting me! lol I think I solved the problem.

It doesn't bother me though. I like having curves and I like it the way it is. It's just kind of funny that after joking about it since coming to Japan, I've actually found a situation to prove it.
